Guild Outing to McLean Auto

We will meet at Stone Road Mall by Sears at 9:00 am. Leave at 9:15 am.

Remember to dress for the weather. If it has rained or is raining wear proper foot apparel.
Charge up your batteries, dust off your tripod and make sure your memory card has ample space.

Parking at the Wrecking Yard. We are to park in the drive way that is left of the house area , not the drive way at the house itself. ( there will be some trucks in the drive way we will park at)

Take Gordon Street south to Aberfoyle
Turn left onto #34
Proceed to Guelph Line
Turn left onto Guelph Line
Proceed about 2 km north to #25 Side Road
Turn right onto #25 Side Road
Proceed about 1 km
Turn right onto Forth Line
McLeans Auto will be on you right

b) From north Guelph or further

On Highway #7 (York Road) drive towards Rockwood
Turn right onto Guelph Line (Highway 1)
Drive south to #25 Side Road
Turn left and drive about 1 km
Turn right onto Forth Line
McLeans Auto will be on your right

GPG March Outing – Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Saturday March 22.

Our March photography outing will be to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Mount Hope on Saturday, March 22 from 9:30 a.m. to around noon.

Be there around 9:30am to meet up with the group.

We will be meeting in Guelph at our usual location in the parking lot in front of the south-facing Sears entrance at Stone Road Mall at 8:30 a.m, Saturday morning, the 22^nd of March.

We will organize car pooling amongst the group at that time.

Travel Photography

Travel Photography March 19, 2014

This month’s meeting will focus on travel photography.

We will start with a training presentation by photographer and journalist Mikkel Aaland.

Travel Photography: Portrait of a City Neighborhood showing San Francisco’s iconic North Beach and Mikkel interacting with the local people, shares travel photo tips as well as post production ideas.

Next, we will present some travel photography from around the world by members of our own Guild.

The evening will be very informal with lots of opportunity to ask questions and add interesting travel tips of our own..

The meeting will be at our usual Dublin Street United location on March 19th at 7:00pm.

Outing to Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory

Our outing to the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory was well attended.  There were over 25 Guild members along with family members who participated in this event.
