On Saturday November 25, 2017 Guild members visited Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph.  The following images are the product of many of our Guild members.

GPG Expresso Gathering at Williams Fresh Café

Last night 17 Guild members gathered at Williams Fresh Café. 

The members present ranged from long-time members up to a member who just joined last week.  In addition to the espresso/coffee/tea and hot chocolate (with whipped cream and marshmallows and a cherry on top J!), there were many interesting and enjoyable discussions, including a range of much appreciated help and advice.

Our next gathering will be on the 24^th of January 2018 at 2:00 pm with the venue being announced early in January (there will be no December gathering due to the Christmas holidays).

GPG Coffee/Tea/Expresso Gathering

This is the first gathering of members of the Guelph Photographers Guild "coffee" outing.  These meetings will take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month.  They will alternate between afternoon and evening meetings.

Here is a group photo of the 1^st GPG Espresso/Coffee/Tea gathering held at Planet Bean’s South Guelph Café on Gordon Street.

11 members attended.  In addition to the excellent espresso and deserts, the conversations were many, interesting and enjoyable =>>  It appears this concept is popular.

Our next GPG Espresso/Coffee/Tea Gathering will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday the 22^nd of November at Williams Fresh Cafe (N-E corner of Edinburgh and Stone Roads).

There will be no Gathering on Wednesday the 27^th of December.

Africa Times Two

On Wednesday October 18, 2017 Tom Jenks and his wife made a presentation on his two trips to Africa. On his second trip he was accompanied by his wife.  This Blog just shows small sampling of his many images.

   
                            

Guild Trip to Mt. Nemo September 30, 2017

The Guelph Photographers Guild first outing of the 2017-18 season was to Mt. Nemo to take in fall colour and the view from atop of the escarpment.

2017 Speed River Inferno Track and Field Festival

The Speed River Inferno Track and Field Festival was held on June 14 at the University of Guelph. There were many events such as the Pole Vault, Hurdles, Long Jump, Para Women and Men's race.
