Visit to Studio 404 a Great Success

Our visit to Studio 404 was a great success.  Ross showed us many aspects of Food Photography. We learned a lot about food photography and some of the tricks of the trade.

Winter Walk at RGB Saturday January 18, 2014

This coming Saturday morning, January 18th, we will be going on a Winter walk on the boardwalk by Grindstone Creek at the RBG in Hamilton Ontario.

We will start the walk at "Cherry Hill Gate" and follow the boardwalk and the Grindstone March trail for a spectacular winter walk.

This outing is a must for those wanting to get some great winter bird photos. Bring a little bit of bird seed if you want to entice these normally very shy birds in very close for pictures.

Below is the link to a PDF from the RBG with information.

www.rbg.ca/files/pdf/gardenareas/trails/RBGHendrieTG13.pdf

We will be meeting in Guelph at our usual location in the parking lot in front of the South facing Sears entrance at Stone Road Mall at 8:30am this Saturday morning, Jan 18th. We will organize car pooling among the group at that time.

We plan to finish up the walk before noon and return to Guelph.

For those who plan on driving straight there, you can meet us around 9:15 in the parking lot across the street from the RBG main building located at 680 Plains Road West, Burlington, ON.

Cherry Hill Gate is located at the parking lot mentioned above, again, located on the north side of Plains Road across from the main RBG building.

Please note that there is no admission fee for the trail, but there is a minimal parking fee.

I've also added the website for the RBG below:
